ANIMAL REIKI 
Reiki is a gentle, noninvasive holistic energy healing system that yields powerful results for the body, mind and spirit. When using Reiki to heal, the practitioner channels healing energy through her hands to the client either directly or from a distance. It is ideal for use with animals because with Reiki, the animal controls the treatment, accepting Reiki in the ways that are most comfortable. Reiki always goes to the source of the problem and always works for the highest good of the client.
General Information about Treating Animals with Reiki:
Reiki is ideal for use with animals because it doesn't cause stress, discomfort, or pain, and yet yields powerful results. Animals respond intuitively to Reiki's power to heal emotional, behavioral, and physical illnesses and injuries.
For animals who are healthy: Reiki helps to maintain their health, enhances relaxation and provides an emotional sense of peace and contentment.
For animals who are ill: Reiki is a wonderful healing method as well as a safe complement to Western Medicine, Chinese Medicine, homeopathy, flower essences, and all other forms of healing. For example, Reiki can reduce the side effects of chemotherapy, support an acupuncture treatment, and enhance the effects of flower essences.
For animals preparing to cross over: Reiki is a powerful yet gentle way to provide comfort, relief from pain, fear, and anxiety, and to ease the transition to death.
Home Visit Fee's for a Reiki, Crystal Therapy or any other Healing Therapy Session:
Reiki treatments that are given in person are best given while in the home or barn where the animal lives. Animals are able to relax and receive these treatments much more successfully when they are comfortable and in their own environments. A home visit within Salt Lake City is $50.00 for a one hour session. I also offer complementary intuitive information that I may receive during a reiki session. The information received in an animal reiki session will not be to the extent of the information received in an animal communication session. This is optional but free of charge and applies to reiki sessions for people, too.
Traveling to other areas will vary in price depending on distance. This is typically an additional $10 to an additional $50. Please email for a price quote.
Animal Reiki by Distance:
$20.00. This is usually about 30 minutes and can be sent for both Human & Animal.
Some animals may live too far away for hands-on treatments. Others may be extremely small, fearful of strangers, old and fragile, or close to death and may be better able to relax and absorb Reiki distantly. For people with very busy schedules, alternating distant Reiki treatments and in-person treatments are a great way to be able to give your animal the benefits of Reiki more conveniently; distant treatments are quite cost-effective and can help to stretch available resources for treatments. Distant treatments are also quick to schedule: in emergency situations, we can usually offer a distant treatment within a day of being contacted. Similarly, if an animal seems to be coming down with something or needs additional support between treatments, distant healing will provide what is needed.
